Comox Valley Ukrainian Cultural Society

We are a society of Ukrainian-Canadians in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island whose purpose is to preserve, practice and promote Ukrainian traditions, language and cultural interests. Over the last year, we have focused our energies in supporting Ukrainian newcomers to the Valley who are escaping the war in Ukraine.

Learning about our history, heritage and traditions, preparation of traditional foods, coordinating cultural events, fundraising etc. With displaced Ukrainians living here, we have offered conversational English language classes, women’s support group, networking, support to hosts, support to Ukrainians, welcome baskets , etc
