Who We Are

Colombian Canadian Association in British Columbia (CCABC), our mission is to foster and
enrich cultural, social, and economic ties between the Colombian community and the Canadian
community in the province of British Columbia. We seek to be a bridge of connection and collaboration
between these two cultures, promoting mutual understanding and celebrating cultural diversity.

Our vision is to be recognized as an engine of integration and collaboration that inspires both
communities to share, learn and grow together. We aspire to be leaders in the promotion of Colombian
culture in British Columbia and to actively contribute to the enrichment of the multicultural diversity of
the province.

What We Do

1. Cultural Promotion: Organize and participate in cultural events that show the richness of Colombian
culture, such as music, dance, art and gastronomy festivals. We will also promote participation in
Canadian events to share our culture.
2. Education and Awareness: Develop educational programs that foster mutual understanding and
promote appreciation of both cultures. Organize talks, workshops and activities that address relevant
topics.
3. Support Network: Establish a solid support network for the Colombian community in BC, providing
resources and services that facilitate integration and success in Canadian society.
4. Community Collaboration: Actively collaborate with other cultural, educational and community
organizations to strengthen multicultural diversity in BC and promote intercultural harmony.
5. Youth Development: Involve Colombian and Canadian youth in cultural and educational activities
to foster leadership and a sense of belonging.
6. Sustainability: Guarantee the financial and operational sustainability of the CCABC to maintain our
work in the long term.
With our commitment to these pillars and the dedication of our members and collaborators, we hope
to make a significant contribution to the cultural and social enrichment of British Columbia and
strengthen the ties between the Colombian and Canadian communities in our province. We are excited
about the journey ahead and look forward to your support and participation in our initiatives!
