Who We Are
It's all about making connections and creating places and spaces where people feel welcome and part of a community. That's what we do at United Way British Columbia - working with communities in BC's Interior, Lower Mainland and Central & Northern Vancouver Island. With your help, we're creating healthy, caring, inclusive communities for everyone.
What We Do
Situated on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish, S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), and Stz'uminus lands, Skwah Nation residents just like you care about your community. United Way's Hi Neighbour initiative works with you to create opportunities to make a difference in your community. Our Local Love Fund provides grants of up to $1,000 to help you make a difference in the ways that matter most to you and to your community through acts of local love. And we're here to help you make it happen
Our team is in communities across the Fraser Valley, working with area residents to promote the health, well-being, and resilience of our communities.
