Have you completed your criminal record check?

All United Way volunteers are subject to a vulnerable sector criminal record check (CRC) specifically for volunteering with seniors, children and vulnerable adults.  It’s a simple process that only takes a few minutes to complete and it's free. We suggest you complete the CRC application form as soon as you've created your iVolunteer user profile as it can take up to three weeks to process.  During the application you will be asked to verify your identity using the BC Services Card App

Use the Access Code below and click on the link to be redirected to the BC Government's CRC home page. PLEASE READ Important Notes (below) and the instructions on the linked page carefully.

Access Code: FUN6MXSCCL

If you need help completing the check, or if you have any questions, please contact us via info@ivolunteer.ca.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Do not have a BC Services Card? You will still be able to complete the online Criminal Record Check, however, you will need to get in touch with us to verify your identity. Please email info@ivolunteer.ca after submitting your Criminal Record Check application.

Is your legal name different than your iVolunteer profile name? If so, please email info@ivolunteer.ca and let us know.  This is so that we can ensure that your Criminal Record Check, which has your legal name, is connected to your profile.

Have you created an iVolunteer account? If you have not, you can still submit a Criminal Record Check application. However, we will not be able to notify you of any follow up actions or notify you when we receive the clearance letter. The best thing is to create an iVolunteer account, or else email us at info@ivolunteer.ca.
