About the Event:
Join us for Día de las Velitas, a magical Colombian tradition that lights up the beginning of the Christmas season! This beautiful cultural celebration will include music, food, lights, arts and crafts, and fun activities for all ages.
We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to help bring this heartwarming event to life.

Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer tasks may include any of the following:
- Helping with event setup (tables, decorations)
- Supporting food and beverage stations
- Assisting with children’s crafts and activities
- Managing games and crowd flow Event
- Cleanup and takedown
- Providing general guest assistance and information
Volunteer Training and Information Session:
Volunteers must attend a mandatory training session on November 29, 2025. During this session, you will meet volunteer leads and key event contacts, be assigned specific tasks, and receive the necessary information for your volunteer role. Details regarding the training will be sent to you following your registration.

Practical Safety Precautions for Volunteering in the Winter
- Dress for the weather (December is chilly—layers recommended)
- Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate shoes
- Take regular breaks in warm or covered areas
- Bring a reusable water bottle – staying hydrated is still important in cold weather
- Familiarize yourself with the location of first aid stations
