Volunteer: Bradley Creative Studio MonitorEnjoy a calm, creative atmosphere? Help keep our Open Studio running smoothly. The new Bradley Creative Studio in Coombs is looking for volunteer monitors: the friendly on-site presence during our weekly drop-in studio sessions. This is a set weekly shift. You sign up for the dates that work for you, open up the space, ensure participants log in and out, and help the session run smoothly. What you'll do: Open and close the studio for a scheduled Open Studio sessionBe a friendly point of contact for people using the equipment/materials they've booked Check the booking list at the door and keep a general eye on the space and equipment Help make sure equipment is put away and the room is reset at the end Flag anything that needs staff attention Plan about 30 minutes on either side of the session for setup and resetMonitors provide on-site presence only. You won't be teaching techniques, running the session, or deciding who uses what, participants book and work independently within program and building parameters. If you'd love to teach, ask us about our Workshop Facilitator role instead. What we're looking for: Reliability and a warm, approachable manner Comfort simply being present in a shared space — no crafting or teaching experience needed Willingness to follow the program and building parameters and an opening/closing routineGood to know: BCCA provides training: a short orientation covers the routine and what to do if something comes up. Sign up here to express interest, and we'll send you a short proposal form where you pick your technique and suggest dates that fit your schedule and our studio calendar, you're not locked into a fixed shift.
