CFCs offers responsive programming in a shared space where food builds health, hope, skills and community. As CFC works with diverse and vulnerable populations, we are committed to a kind, respectful and understanding work environment. By joining the Mount Paul CFC, you will play a key role in helping us mee the needs of the community. As a volunteer, you can choose from a variety of programs, including food recovery, community meals, garden drop ins, meals on wheels or the affordable produce market. This is the right role for you if you are someone who: -Is interested in connecting with community -Enjoys being around people -Wants to learn more about our food system and community supports -Has, or would like to develop, skills in gardening, food processing, and customer service -Values teamwork, inclusion, and giving back A Position Title Volunteer’s main tasks are: -Supporting program goals and outcomes -Engaging with participants, staff, and other volunteers -Processing, growing, preparing, and serving food -Helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment Experience is not required. You will be given training based on which programs you enroll to volunteer once you are onboarded!
