Volunteer: UGM Women's Community Drop In SupportUnion Gospel Mission's Women Resource team offers a supportive hand for women and families in need, providing friendship, safety, and caring support. We are looking for volunteers who are passionate about supporting women and families. The Drop-In Support team provides essentials like food hampers, diapers, and hygiene items. Note: Out of concern for the comfort and healing of our program participants, we will be holding this position for female-identified volunteers. Tasks Greet and welcome community members . Support individual women to access needed supplies and assist with checking them in and out of the room. The weekly Tuesday night Family dinner brings together families and women connected to UGM for a healthy and nutritious meal. Note: Out of concern for the comfort and healing of our program participants, we will be holding this position for female-identified volunteers. Tasks Assist with set up and clean of the dining room Serve hot meals to community members with a smile Adhere to food safety and kitchen safety procedures including proper hair protection and wearing closed-toed shoes and gloves Interested in volunteering with us?
