Join us as a Volunteer Driver with the Westshore Better At Home Porgram, and experince the joy of giving back. What will you be doing? Transportation to and from medical appointments (you will not attend the appointments with them.)Transportation to and from social meal events Pick- up groceriesPick- up and delivery of weekly meals (typically every Wednesday in the afternoon, unless it is a Statutory holiday.We'll support you with all the orientation and guidance you need, you just bring: A willing heart and a desire to support local seniors Your own relliable, fully insured vehicle and a valid BC Drivers licence Some availablity during the day on weekdays or occational Saturdays Openness to provide basic documents such as a resume, references, driver's abstract and a Criminal Record checkDon't worry, we will walk you though everything and reimbuse mileage too!
