Volunteer: Volunteers for Charity Golf Classic June 19

The First Nations Health Foundation (FNHF) is looking for staff volunteers to support our inaugural Charity Golf Classic on June 19.

On June, golfers will take part in the First Nations Health Foundation Charity Golf Classic, embarking on a meaningful journey across an Arnold Palmer Signature Course. Beyond a day on the course, we have curated an inspiring and eye-opening experience—rooted in respect, relationship-building, and spirited competition. Golfers can expect to engage with each other in ways that reflect the values and vision of the FNHF, including unique opportunities to connect, learn, and contribute. This special gathering celebrates the strength, resilience, and unity of First Nations communities as we work towards transforming health outcomes and achieving health equity for First Nations in BC.

Volunteers will play a key role in helping deliver a memorable day for participants. If you’re looking for a way to get more involved, meet new people, or give back to the community, there are several opportunities to participate.

Roles available:

Set up volunteer: Prepare golf course spaces, including registration areas, staging zones, on-course activations, and wayfinding signage. Greet & Guide Volunteer: Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanour as they arrive. Driving Range Volunteer: Set up the driving range area, including organizing golf balls, signage, and any sponsor materials.50/50 Raffle Volunteer: Greet guests and enthusiastically encourage them to participate in the raffle. Mulligans Volunteer: Actively promote and sell mulligans and any additional game packages to golfers. Hole Watchers: Monitor play at the assigned hole throughout the tournament. Hole Watcher Breakers: Rotate between assigned holes to provide break coverage for Hole Watchers.

Please note that volunteers may be assigned two to three roles scheduled at different times throughout the morning and afternoon.
