The SVNH Food Hub is looking for some volunteers to come on Thursday January 20th, to help us sort through a donation of rescued food. This volunteer shift is ideal for people who enjoy meeting new folks, like to talk while doing some hand-on activities, and enjoys giving back to community.
Previous Knowledge of Food Safety standards are not mandatory, but would be an asset as we will be going through Best Before dates. Otherwise this is a great opportunity to learn more about what BB dates mean and how we can reduce our individual food waste!
