South Vancouver Family Place is a charitable organization whose objective is to prevent, reduce, and relieve family stress resulting from poverty, abuse, violence, single parenthood, and social isolation due to language and cultural barriers. Our mission is to support families with young children in building healthy relationships and community networks, by providing services and programs in a welcoming, nurturing, and respectful environment.
South Vancouver Family Place is seeking volunteers for basic, general tasks around the organization. We are in need of help with the overall upkeep of family and the preschool, inside out. Tasks include yard work, landscaping, power washing entrance, deck, back door, windows, the lawn, leaves, trees, maintenance, and more.
Schedules are ongoing and flexible.
