About the Event
Join us for a free Holiday Unwind & Craft Night hosted by United Way BC's Hi Neighbour initiative. This event is designed for moms and grandmoms to come together for an evening of fun, relaxation and connection.
Why Volunteer?
This opportunity is ideal for moms and grandmoms who want to support and uplift other moms. If you enjoy crafting, making new friends and building connections in South Coquitlam, this event is definitely for you! It's a fun way to volunteer while carving out some "me" time before the holidays!
How to help:
We need six volunteers from 5 PM - 9 PM to help with the following:
Set-up: All Volunteers
Teamwork makes the dream work! All volunteers arrive at 5 PM to assist with setting up crafting stations, decorations and refreshments before the event begins.
Be Our Hostesses with the Mostest: All Volunteers
Help us create a warm and welcoming environment to help guests feel comfortable as they arrive. Invite guests to help themselves to the self-service refreshments table.
Crafting Stations: Two Volunteers Per Station
Join in the fun! Create your own holiday crafts and help other moms as needed at one of three activity stations:
- Create a Door Hanging
- Holiday Arts and Crafts
- Spa Creations
All supplies are provided!
Clean-up: All Volunteers
Many hands make light work! All volunteers help clean up the venue after the event at 8:30 PM. We should be done by 9 PM at the latest!
Future Hosting Opportunity:
We'd love to make this a regular meet-up for moms and grandmoms led by moms and grandmoms.
