We are in need of additional volunteers to support with Childhood Connections with family drop in play places.
A need around family focused play spaces has be identified and two drop in spaces will be setup to support community and families. In addition to play spaces for children, local organizations will be on site to provide support services to families.
Volunteers are needed to help staff by being an extra set of hands to support this work.
- No previous experience with child minding is required to assist with this task. However, we encourage those who have previous experience to consider volunteering.
- Volunteers will be given a training and basic orientation when they arrive for their shift.
- Children will be in attendance with their family members, this is not a daycare type space.

We are also in need of volunteers at a 2nd Location in Kelowna.
*please do not drop in if you are not able to sign up for a shift. We are mindful of the needs and will continue to share future opportunities along.
*This opportunity is only available for volunteers already in the area with accommodations. Please do not travel in from outside of the interior at this time.
