United Way BC is providing special gift packages of donated essential items. The packages will be distributed to a program one of our amazing Partner Agencies is hosting to support displaced Ukrainians currently residing in British Columbia.
Working with others, the UWBC Kit Assembly Volunteer will be assisting with assembling items to put together to be included in the gift packages.
What you will be helping with:
- Assemble listed items into packages.
- Items will include hygiene items, and other helpful items.
Other Helpful Information:
- This volunteer locations is INDOORS at the United Way BC office in Burnaby.
(4543 Canada Way, Burnaby, BC V5G 4T4) - Free parking available.
- Volunteers are requested to be fully vaccinated.
- Training and orientation will be provided at start of the shift.
- Volunteers are encouraged to bring minimal belongings as there may not be a secure place for them while volunteer.
