We are in need of Ukrainian speaking translator for a Ukrainian Head Scarf Khustka Workshop. Two local Ukrainian artists will be hosting the workshop. Anyone interested in Ukrainian culture is able to register & attend the event. It’s a fantastic way to spend your Saturday afternoon for anyone interested in learning more about Ukrainian culture & learning some new skills.
The workshop is supported by UWBC's Local Love Fund.
What you will be helping with:
- Provide Ukrainian to English & English to Ukrainian translation for attendees as required
- Provide Ukrainian to English & English to Ukrainian translation for other UWBC volunteers as required
- Translation will be done one sentence at a time.
Other Helpful Information:
- This volunteer locations is INDOORS at Creekside Community Recreation Centre - Vancouver BC.
- Volunteers must speak fluent Ukrainian
- After responding to this opportunity a coordinator will reach out with additional details.
- Volunteers are encouraged to bring minimal belongings as there may not be a secure place for them while volunteer.
