Volunteers are needed to assist with an event at Stanley Park (Third Beach) to celebrate Independence Day of Ukraine.
Hosted by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, the event will feature musical performances, catered Ukrainian food and activities for children.
This is an opportunity for the Ukrainian community in the Lower Mainland to gather and celebrate together!
We are needing volunteers in two (2) roles (please sign up for the correct shift time)
Setup Volunteer (Aug 26 - 9:30am-12pm)
- Setting up tables and tents
- Meet and greet with vendors and participants
- Provide directions
- Other setup related tasks
- Training will be provided at the start of your shift
Event Volunteer (Aug 26 - 2pm-5pm)
- Meet and greet with attendees
- Provide general information about UWBC's United for Ukraine Program
- Help with clean up at end of the event
- Other general duties as required
- Training will be provided at the start of your shift

- This event is OUTDOORS.
- Parking reimbursement available (please keep your parking receipts)
- Volunteers are encouraged to bring minimal belongings as there may not be a secure place for them while volunteer.
