Description

We need volunteers to help us at our family-friend fall event to celebrate our Dominican culture. Come be a part of this amazing event and share in our culture, dance and music!

The event takes place on Oct 22 at St Francis de Sales School in Edmonds. Volunteers should arrive at 12 pm and plan to stay until 5 pm.

Volunteers greeters are needed to greet, register and hand out identification bracelets to guests at the entrance to the event venue. Volunteers will be responsible for ensuring the registration line moves efficiently. The registration desk will be open from 1 pm - 3 pm.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Be friendly as you welcome guests to the event!
  • Willingness to work as a team to make sure that only registered guests are granted entry to the venue
  • Handing out guest identification bracelets as guests enter the event venue
  • Able to keep the line moving efficiently

Time commitment: 12 pm - 5pm

All volunteers will arrive at 12 pm to help set up before the event and help clean up after the event at 4 pm. We anticipate clean-up will be done in under an hour.

When you arrive, please check in with Doris. A buffet lunch will be provided for volunteers before the event doors open.

We encourage volunteers to participate in the celebrations and experience Dominican culture!
