Ever wanted to make a difference or share some local love in your community but didn't know where to start?
We're here to help! This easy Hi Neighbour volunteer activity will inspire others in your community to get involved!
What is a Hi Neighbour volunteer activity?
Hi Neighbour volunteer activities are self-directed new and easy ways to get involved in your community. And they're fun to do!
We've created accessible ways for individuals to volunteer and pay it forward through a number of activities that can be done individually or by connecting with like-minded people.
We're inviting the residents of Princeton to join our volunteer team and help us create a positive impact in Princeton. Sign up to be a part of Princeton's Hi Neighbour volunteer community!
The activity:
During an emergency, many neighbours may be too overwhelmed to know where to turn for help. Knowing you have a local emergency support network is critical for a crisis. Your neighbourhood Emergency Hub will provide a centralized meeting place and a strategy to allow your neighbourhood to remain self-sufficient in the days or weeks after natural disasters.
Inspire others in your community by sharing photos and details of your Neighbourhood Emergency Hub with Tanya, and we'll feature them on Princeton's Hi Neighbour page.
Not sure where to start? This resource will guide you through setting up your Neighbourhood Emergency Hub.
If you need help planning your activity, contact Tanya.
