As a Food Bank Assistance Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals and families by helping to prepare and distribute emergency food hampers. Your work directly impacts the well-being of our community's most vulnerable members.

ASalvation Army Food Bank Assistance Volunteer’s main tasks are:
- Help prepare food hampers
- Break down bulk purchases/donations for food hampers
- Sort and organize donated food items
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
No prior experience is needed!
Time commitment:
Volunteers sign up for shifts of between 2.5 to 3 hours long. You can sign up for shifts when you have availability. We ask that volunteers commit to 5 shifts minimum.
