Are you passionate about welcoming newcomers and helping them learn English?

Are you fluent in English – spoken, written and reading - and ready to use curricular teaching materials?

Are you excited to communicate and work with people from multi-cultural backgrounds?

If so, then you should consider teaching English with Kingcrest International Neighbours (KIN)!

 

A successful applicant will have the skills needed to teach in KIN’s English Language Learning (ELL) program.  We are looking for persons who will be energetic in teaching and building supportive relationships in the context of KIN’s outreach with newcomers to Canada. 

Class Hours and Structure:  During 10-week Fall, Winter and/or Spring Terms, KIN ELL classes are held at our building in South-East Vancouver on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Our Volunteer Teachers serve on both Tuesday & Thursday, or either Thursday or Thursday.  Up to 3 Levels of English are offered each term from Beginner through Intermediate, based on students’ proficiency and needs.
