Kitchen Volunteer (Dishwasher) on Fridays

Description
Join our team at Tonari Gumi – Japanese Community Volunteers Association and support our community café! We are looking for 1–2 dishwasher volunteers on Fridays to help keep our kitchen running smoothly. Volunteers in this role will work with our café team to ensure a clean and organized environment while meals are being prepared and served.

We are looking for volunteers who can:

Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment following FoodSafe and sanitary guidelines

Assist with light cleaning tasks, such as wiping counters and organizing dishes

Help maintain a safe, accessible, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all

Work collaboratively with a friendly and dedicated team of staff and volunteers

What you’ll gain:

Volunteers in this role will attend an interview and orientation session.
