The Lillooet
Learning Communities Society (Lillooet Learns) as the host organization of the
Community Connect Innovation HUB and associated programs, has helped the Arts
Lillooet Collective grow into its own society to pursue funding specifically
for arts programs in our communities.
This position helps support the Arts Lillooet board as it begins its journey as a newly registered society.
What You Will Help With:
- Schedule and attend board meetings
- Work with other board members to come up with program ideas
- Engage with local artists to plan on how to support them with programming
- Research and potentially write grants for the arts
- Develop society documents, bylaws, and codes of conduct
Other Helpful Info:
- Select shifts that meet your availability.
- This volunteer role is best during daytime hours but can be flexible
- Training and ongoing support provided
This is a new organization and there is lots of potential to work with a new board and grow arts in Lillooet and provide opportunities for local artists.
