United Way's Hi Neighbour Initiative helps you meet them and works with you to create opportunities to make a difference in your community in ways that matter most to you.
The United Way Hi Neighbour program is hosing an Intergenerational clay day event on March 21, 2025 from 3-5pm
At the intergenerational clay day event, volunteers will help form new community connections across generations, from kids to adults, to seniors. Share your creativity and help us build new friendships in the Lougheed community.
What you will be helping with:
- helping set up,
- welcoming participants,
- facilitating conversations/starting conversations,
- helping demonstrate how to make basic shapes with clay (if you feel comfortable), and helping clean up after the event
Other Helpful Information:
- Training is provided for this role.
- There will be a training/info session on March 16th at 3pm online on Teams. The time can be changed if volunteers is unavailable.
- This volunteer role is located INDOORS
- There is no set dress code, but please dress in comfortable shoes as you may be standing during your shift.
