Join the Team Behind a Sold-Out Success!
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the Event Committee for Country for a Cause 2026, taking place on October 24th in Pitt Meadows.
Last year's event sold out in just two weeks, brought together 250 incredible guests, and raised much-needed funds to help local seniors remain safe, independent, and supported at home.
This year, we're doing it all again and we'd love some great people to join us.
Whether you're a seasoned event planner, a networking superstar, a sponsorship wizard, an auction item hunter, a creative thinker, or simply someone who enjoys being part of a team that gets things done, there's a place for you on our committee.
You don't need to have all the skills.
You don't need to do everything.
We're building a team where everyone brings their own strengths, ideas, connections, and enthusiasm to the table.
*Some committee members may help secure sponsorships.
*Some may focus on auction items.
*Others may assist with planning, promotion, marketing, logistics, volunteer coordination, guest experience, or helping things run smoothly before, during, and after the event.
What we all have in common is a desire to create an unforgettable evening while raising funds for a cause that matters.
Why Join?
*Meet amazing people and expand your network
*Use your talents and skills for something meaningful
*Gain event planning and fundraising experience
*Be part of a fun, collaborative team
*Help seniors access the support they need to age safely and with dignity in their own homes.
This is more than an event committee. It's a group of people coming together to create something special, have some fun along the way, and make a real impact in our community. If you've been looking for a way to give back, meet great people, and be part of a sold-out community event with a proven track record of success, we'd love to hear from you.
