Make your mark on a growing community – one post at a time.
Kamloops Pickleball Club (KPC) is a vibrant, fast-growing sport club with over 500 active members ranging from casual players to passionate competitors. We’re looking for a motivated student to help us level up our social media and public presence — and we want your ideas.
This isn’t a content grind. It’s a chance to step back, take a strategic look, and shape how we communicate who we are. Training will be provided by our Project Liaisons. Volunteers will receive clarification of the project objectives, along with an orientation to our club's mission, structure, website and available resources.
Our Project Liaisons will also be available to provide on-going support throughout the project: facilitating collaboration and communication between the project team and Kamloops Pickleball Club and working with the team to keep the project moving forward.
What You’ll Do
Audit our existing social platforms, and possibly our newsletter and website
Identifywhat’s working, what’s missing, and what could be more engaging
Propose a social media strategy that fits a volunteer-run club
Develop sample content ideas such as member stories, club updates, or rule tips
Create a lightweight content calendar and plug-and-play templates future volunteers can easily use
Bonus: If you have ideas for creative formats — video, photo stories, reels — we’re open
