Can you help make a food delivery for someone in need?
You’ll pick up pre-ordered groceries from Superstore (Westwood Mall, 3000 Lougheed Hwy) between 7:00-8:00 p.m. on April 12th, and deliver them to a neighbour in Port Coquitlam (off of Mary Hill Bypass).
How this works:
We’ll notify you when you’ve been matched to the neighbour in need. We'll forward your name and contact information to the neighbour to arrange a delivery time with you. Please email us at info@ivolunteer.ca if you don’t hear from the neighbour within 12-24 hours.
When you’ve picked up the groceries and you're ready to make the delivery, phone the neighbour in need with an approximate arrival time so that they're expecting you. When you arrive, phone the neighbour to let them know you’ve dropped off the grocery order at their front door. If they live in an apartment building, please wait until they arrive at the front door to pick up their groceries.
Time Commitment: 2 hours.
This a one-time commitment to fulfill a one-time need, but could become an ongoing opportunity every other week.
