Can you help pick up and deliver food packages to a neighbour in quarantine in Richmond?
You will be picking up food pacakges from the Jewish Family Services food van parked outside the Bayit Synagouge at 10791 Number 3 Rd, Richmond, BC V7A 1W8. The pick up window is between 1:30pm - 2:30pm. The packages will be under the neighbour's name. This neighbour does not have access to the internet. We will email you the neighbour's pertinent contact information and client number to you.
How this works:
When you’ve picked up the packages and you're ready to make the delivery, phone the neighbour in need with an approximate arrival time so that they're expecting you. When you arrive, phone the neighbour to let them know you’ve dropped off the packages at their front door. If they live in an apartment building, please wait until they arrive at the front door to pick up their order.
Time Commitment: 2 hours.
This a one-time commitment to fulfill an immediate need, however you're welcome to connect directly with the neighbour if you wish to help them out again.
