Can you help shop and deliver groceries for a neighbour who is under cancer treatment in White Rock?
How this works:
Once you've responded to this need, we'll forward your name and contact information to the neighbour. The neighbour will contact you within 24-48 hours to arrange details such as shopping list, delivery time and payment. Please email us at info@ivolunteer.ca if you don’t hear from the neighbour within 48 hours.
When you’ve picked up the groceries and you're ready to make the delivery, phone the neighbour in need with an approximate arrival time so that they're expecting you. When you arrive, phone the neighbour to let them know you’ve dropped off the order at their front door. If they live in an apartment building, please wait until they arrive at the front door to pick up their order.
This a one-time commitment to fulfill an immediate need.

Maintain physical distancing by keeping a minimum 2-meter distance between you and any other person not in your immediate family.
Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly and often. Wash hands with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds and rinse under clean running water.
