Can you help pick up / deliver a food hamper for a neighbour in Vancouver?
You'll pick up the food hamper from Collingwood Neighbourhood House at 5288 Joyce St, Vancouver, BC V5R 6C9 between 12pm - 4pm and deliver it to the neighbour's home.
Please call Crecien 604-365-8683 when you arrive at the Neighbourhood House.
How this works:
Once you've responded to this need, we'll forward your name and contact information to the senior. We will contact you with delivery details on behalf of the senior within 24-48 hours. Please email us at info@ivolunteer.ca if you haven't received details from us within 48 hours.
When you’ve picked up the hamper and you're ready to make the delivery, phone the senior with an approximate arrival time so that they're expecting you. When you arrive, phone the senior to let them know you’ve dropped off the order at their front door. If they live in an apartment building, please wait until they arrive at the front door to pick up their order.
Time Commitment: 2 hours.
This a one-time commitment to fulfill an immediate need, however you're welcome to connect directly with the senior if you wish to help them out again.

Maintain physical distancing by keeping a minimum 2-meter distance between you and any other person not in your immediate family.
Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly and often. Wash hands with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds and rinse under clean running water.
