Description

Can you help drive a neighbour to her doctor's appointment?

This neighbour has recently undergone a surgery and needs a volunteer to drop her off at a follow up appointment. She only speaks Cantonese, however, so she will greatly appreciate it if her volunteer also speaks Cantonese for ease in communication during the ride.

She will need to be picked up from her home and driven to her appointment at 309-260 Commercial Drive, Vancouver. The appointment is from 11:00-11:30 on Wednesday, October 7th. She would also need a ride back home. If you sign up for this opportunity, we will send you additional details by email.

Time Commitment: 1.5 hours (including travel time).

This is a one-time commitment to fulfill an immediate need.

Maintain physical distancing by keeping a minimum 2-meter distance between you and any other person not in your immediate family. Where social distancing is not possible, it is advisable for all parties to wear face masks.

Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly and often. Wash hands with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds and rinse under clean running water.
