Can you help us pick up and deliver bread?

You'll pick up bread from a Cobs Bread store in North Vancouver at 6pm on Monday May 31st and deliver it to Cedar Feast Catering at  524 Powell St #214, Vancouver 
To help you'll need to:
  • have access to a vehicle with storage room for transporting goods
  • bring a large cardboard box or a large storage bin to store bread
  • bring some large garbage bags
  • bring gloves

Cedar Feast Contact: 

Time Commitment: 2 hours.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR VOLUNTEERS: Please contact (mayag@uwlm.ca) and info@ivolunteer.ca immediately if:  

  • you feel unwell before or on the day of your shift. Please stay home and do not volunteer.   
  • you are unable to fulfil your shift commitment. If possible, please try to provide a minimum notice of two days to allow us to make alternate arrangements or find another volunteer.  

REMINDER: It’s important to unregister yourself from the shift if you’re unable to fulfil your commitment – this will allow another volunteer to register for your spot

Maintain physical distancing by keeping a minimum 2-meter distance between you and any other person not in your immediate family. 

Wearing a non-medical mask or face covering while out in public is recommended for periods of time when it's not possible to consistently maintain a 2-metre physical distance from others, particularly in crowded public settings. 

Avoid touching your face and in particular your eyes, nose and mouth.   

Practice good hand hygiene by washing your hands thoroughly and often. Wash hands with soap for a minimum of 20 seconds and rinse under clean running water.
