Description

About the event:

Join us on April 27 to celebrate the Filipino community's rich cultural heritage. Lapu Lapu Day commemorates the victory of Lapu-Lapu and his Filipino warriors against Spanish invaders led by Ferdinand Magellan at the Battle of Mactan in 1521.

About the volunteer role:

We need 6 volunteers for two shifts to ensure the event runs smoothly. This is a great chance to engage with the community, learn about Filipino culture and enjoy various cultural and entertaining activities.  No previous experience needed - just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.

  • Before the event, help set up tents, tables, chairs, activities, games, and snacks.
