Volunteer: Network Friend
Lifetime Networks is a not for profit society that supports people with diverseabilities and those who experience other barriers to creating and sustaining lasting friendships. As a Network Friend, you are matched with a Focus Person based on mutual interests and personalities. Friends visit with their Focus Person once or twice a month to develop a reciprocal friendship. Friends communicate and receive support from their Network’s facilitator. We have many people on our list hoping to add a new friend to their network. As this is a position involving building a friendship, we ask for a minimum of a year for commitment. Contact us for an application form and we will assist in the matching process to find a good fit. As we work with the vulnerable sector, volunteers must be double vaccinated for COVID-19 and a few items of paperwork will be collected prior to volunteering. Contact us with any questions at all! Volunteer: Dynamic Duo - Help a person with diversabilities in the communityThe Dynamic Duos Program is a service that connects participants with volunteers to provide assistance and companionship for leisure or recreational activities. Matches are made based on interests, availability, and location. The specific type and location of the activity will vary based on the needs and interests of participants and volunteers. After the volunteer onboarding paperwork is complete, the Dynamic Duos Coordinator will facilitate an initial meeting to introduce the Volunteer and Participant and arrange an initial schedule. Must be double vaccinated for COVID-19.
