Volunteer: Emergency Preparedness Assistant

We are looking for volunteers in the Okanagan Valley who would be able to assist us support our clients in the event of an emergency evacuation order. If you have your Class 4 or class 5 would be beneficial but not mandatory. Must be able to work well under pressure and make decisions independently. Must be organized and able to stay calm in a crisis situation. As we work with the vulnerable population, you will need to have a valid Criminal Record Check. This position is on a emergency need only, although we do have preparatory meetings throughout the year. Contact us for more information.
