In the wake of the tragic events at the Lapu Lapu Festival in Vancouver, United Way BC stands with the Filipino community and those impacted, helping where we can.

Kapwa is a term that describes the Filipina experience of community, interconnectedness and shared humanity. Many Filipinos practice this value through solidarity, and we've seen this value extended across the overwhelming support from our broader communities.
