Qui nous sommes
CityReach Care Society was founded in 2004 to help serve the tangible needs of the people in our community. We operate in and serve the community of East Vancouver and the Tri-Cities of British Columbia. Our mission is to help people prosper.
Our vision is to enable children, youth and families to develop and grow both as individuals and as a community, through programs and activities offered in a safe and caring environment.
Ce que nous faisons
Food for Families is one of the seven programs currently run by CityReach Care Society. It is a weekly healthy and nutritious food bank mostly serving fresh produce, dairy, meat, grains to over 200 families, representing more than 1000 individuals including children. Most of the food we receive comes from local companies and farms.
Since the COVID-19 crisis we have seen an increase of 300% of demand.
Also, we are offering delivery services to vulnerable people with mobility issues, in partnership with Broadway Church.
