Who We Are
We welcome everyone to participate in all aspects of the life and work of our community, including people of all ages, abilities, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, and socio-economic circumstance.
We partner with others to mitigate the effects of homelessness, poverty, social isolation, and environmental
issues in our community, and are known for our outreach and food ministries.
At the heart of faith formation and all we do at St. Andrew’s United Church, rests our love of God and neighbor. We’re committed to environmental stewardship and believe everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy and inexpensive food.

What We Do
We are a neighborhood church that cares deeply about issues which affect our North Shore community. We work with other churches and faith-based groups as well as non-profit community organizations in North Vancouver to mitigate homelessness, poverty, social isolation, and environmental issues.
When Jesus was asked which was the greatest commandment he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment.” And a second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22: 37 – 39)
The Great Commandment informs who we are and what we do as a community of faith. While deeply rooted in the Christian tradition, we listen and respond to God’s Spirit that calls us to love with compassion and to live our faith in today’s world.
Please join us—all are welcome in this place!
