Lotus Light Charity Society

Lotus Light Charity is a registered charity headquartered in the Downtown Eastside neighborhood focused on poverty
alleviation. Now in its 30th year, the charity serves vulnerable low-income individuals and families, disabled, seniors and
the homeless in our local community. For Lotus Light's Covid-19 Community Caring Drive, we are raising emergency
food and funds to deliver/distribute meals, weekly emergency food hampers, hygiene care toiletry items and healthy
food/snacks for vulnerable people and in our communities throughout Metro Vancouver from our food warehouse
donors, FoodRescue.ca & FoodMesh.ca. We also supplement reduced school meal programs Tier-1 inner city schools
and deliver to the DTES homeless shelter kitchens.
