DISPLACED UKRAINIANS
We dedicate ourselves to forging connections between displaced Ukrainians and local Okanagan organizations, diverse community resources, and businesses through the Okanagan Ukrainian Hub. Our mission is to ensure they have access to essential items such as clothing, food, education, and beyond. By providing support, our aim is to empower them on their path to becoming valued and contributing members of Canadian society.
We have curated comprehensive resource pages featuring links to Federal, Provincial, Regional (Okanagan), and local (Kelowna) resources, aimed at facilitating the settlement process for those arriving in Canada. Through our website, displaced Ukrainians can submit requests for kindness and employment and local residents and businesses can submit kindness offers and job opportunities. Our goal is to create a central hub where collective efforts enable us to connect those in need with those who can provide assistance, fostering a sense of unity and support within our community.
Our collaborations with Okanagan Ukrainian Associations are instrumental in providing a secure environment for Ukrainians to learn English, secure meaningful employment and foster connections within our community. These affiliations empower Ukrainians to integrate effectively into their new environment, build valuable skills and establish vital support networks.
HUMANITARIAN AID
When you contribute to the Bravery Foundation's Humanitarian Aid Fund, your donation directly translates into the procurement of crucial medical supplies and humanitarian aid for those facing the greatest hardships. With access to extensive networks and influential contacts across Canada, the US, and Ukraine, we guarantee the acquisition of top-quality medical and humanitarian supplies, swiftly delivered to those in urgent need.
Through our network and procurement efforts, we support Canadian volunteer paramedics in Ukraine and the hospital in Rivne, ensuring victims of war receive prompt and effective medical attention when it matters most.
