Canuck Place Children's Hospice

Canuck Place is BC’s pediatric palliative care provider for children with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. The Hospice offers world-class pediatric palliative health care within a home-like environment.

Our team of physicians, nurses, counsellors, therapists, staff, and volunteers provide medical respite care, pain and symptom management, art, music, and recreation therapy, end-of-life care, grief, loss, and bereavement counselling. All at no cost.

Volunteer applications will be reviewed during the following months, or as needed (based on identified capacity needs):

• June
• September
• December

We are mindful that this may generate longer wait times than anticipated. We remain committed to keeping our applicant pool updated with any changes, and will reach out should there be any significant adjustments to our intake cycle.
