At the Bradley Centre, we offer programs and activities designed to meet the needs and interests of our community, with a special focus on seniors and food security.
Food programming is at the heart of what we do. Our weekly Connections Café brings neighbours together over a shared meal, prepared with the help of our Souper Chefs volunteer kitchen team. The Oceanside Community Kitchen provides a certified space for cooking, food literacy workshops, and community food initiatives, and we are proud partners of the BC Association of Farmers' Markets' nutrition coupon program, helping local households access fresh, healthy food from area farmers.
Creativity and connection thrive here too. Coming soon ... a free sewing program and a Creative Maker Studio. We community events throughout the year, from family friendly dances to seasonal markets, that bring people together and help keep our programs accessible to everyone.
The Centre is also home to a lively roster of community groups and renters: fibre artists, table tennis players, and more - making the building a true hub of activity nearly every day of the week.
Volunteers are woven into everything we do: cooking and serving meals, facilitating workshops, supporting events, and helping the Centre run smoothly. Whatever your skills or interests, there's a meaningful way to contribute.
