United Way British Columbia (UWBC) funds our Social Prescribing program and is leading the integration of Social Prescribing within the province, adapting this internationally recognized approach to meet the unique needs of seniors in British Columbia’s communities.

What we do is based on Social prescribing. Social prescribing is a means for us to connect participants ages 60+ to a range of non-clinical services in the community to improve their health and well-being.
