We provide engaging, low-cost and no-cost children’s, youth and seniors’ social-recreational programs and support services for North Shore residents who are vulnerable or living in conditions of risk. We also operate the Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program, providing free loans of mobility assistance equipment to those recovering from illness or injury.
Operating with a lens of equity, diversity and inclusion, we create opportunities for social connectedness, support healthy childhood development & healthy aging, improve individual well-being & resiliency, and promote a sense of community belonging. Our programs are proudly supported by over 100 local volunteers.
Working in partnership with community groups, community organizations, and local Indigenous communities, CCSS can effectively identify service gaps and collaborate with our partners to offer responsive programming and build capacity across the North Shore.
