The Capilano Review

The Capilano Review is overseen by a Board of Directors, operated by three part-time staff, and supported by a vibrant community of readers, contributors and generous donors.

The Capilano Review is a contemporary literary and arts magazine, and a vital gathering space for creative practitioners and cultural critics in Vancouver, British Columbia, and across Canada. Our vision is a thoughtful and challenging publication that engages, inspires, and helps create a thriving, diverse community of readers, writers, and artists. In addition to publishing two print and digital issues of the magazine each year, we also host an annual Writer-in-Residence, thematic writing contests, and numerous workshops, readings, and other events open to the general public. We also offer paid editorial internships, supporting youth and young adults in the early stages of their careers.
