Who We Are

The Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society (KAFS) provides culturally appropriate programming and inclusive one-to-one services that meet the needs of urban Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to become healthier physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. KAFS has three separate locations that serve children, youth, and families seeking a wide variety of support.

What We Do

As a volunteer with KAFS, you’ll be part of meaningful, front-line work alongside children, youth, families, and Elders. You’ll have opportunities to learn about Indigenous culture, Canada’s colonial history, and human service practices while building connections that support both community and personal growth.
