Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks Society

Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks (ASSP) is a charitable organization creating and providing accessible outdoor adventures for individuals living with physical, visual and/or neuro-divergent challenges. Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks assists people living with a wide range of abilities to participate in adaptive snow sports and recreation programs including adaptive mountain biking at Sun Peaks Resort. Everyone should have the opportunity to learn sport skills and become active for life. ASSP strives to focus on the abilities of our participants and maximize the highest level of independence for each athlete. ASSP is committed to providing opportunities and removing barriers to engage in sport and recreation, and in doing so promote increased self confidence, independence and improved quality of life. ASSP is also committed to modeling inclusion within the Sun Peaks community.

The purpose of Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks Society is to provide athletic andrecreational programs to support the physical, mental and emotional well-being of persons with diverse abilities.
