Who We Are
The Northwest Invasive Plant Council is a not-for-profit organization with a Board of Directors representing a diverse range of stakeholder groups. We aim to have representation from provincial government, First Nations, local government, educators, agriculture, horticulture, environmental groups, industry and utilities.
What We Do
The Northwest Invasive Plant Council is dedicated to protecting the unique ecosystems of Northwest British Columbia from the spread of invasive plant species. We work to prevent new introductions, control existing populations, and reduce the impacts of invasive species on our natural landscapes, wildlife, and communities.
