How to: Post an Opportunity for your Agency or Program

This article covers how to post an opportunity in iVolunteer.

 

How to Post an opportunity

To post an opportunity on your iVolunteer.ca account:

  • Log in to iVolunteer.ca using the credentials (email and password) you signed up with. 
  • Go to your agency or program management area by clicking the My Agency button at the top of your screen.

 

 

  • You will be taken to the Edit tab of your manager view.

 

 

  • Click Opportunities.

 

 

  • Click Add New Opportunity.

 

 

  • Click Create Opportunity to post your opportunity. Voila! Your opportunity is now live and visible to all UWBC volunteers.

 

 

Notifications

When a UWBC volunteer responds to one of your opportunities, an automated notification goes out to you as an agency or program manager and to anyone listed as an additional notification recipient. The volunteer also receives a notification confirming they responded to an opportunity.

 

Note on Emails

Please make sure you add info@ivolunteer.ca to your safe list to get all the notifications in your inbox. Otherwise, you may be missing on important notifications if the emails go directly to your spam or junk folder.
