BIO/BACKGROUND
Nancy Shelford is the Regional Manager of Volunteer Resources for Northern Health, and lives in Prince George, BC. Her lifelong passion has been to grow capacity in individuals and communities and engage people in volunteerism. As both a committed volunteer and a professional in the field, Nancy brings diverse perspectives to the topic of volunteer engagement. She has worked and volunteered in the voluntary sector for over 20 years and is currently the Regional Manager of Volunteer Resources for Northern Health. Nancy's experience in volunteerism is far ranging. She has designed and overseen national recognition, stewardship, and training for volunteers at the Canadian Cancer Society, and volunteered at every level from event volunteering to board participation.
